The highly qualified employees; biologists with bio-control experience is one of the keys to success of our team. Larval population surveillance and the launching of control operations cannot be left to chance. Only the sustained monitoring over the entire territory allows the proper evaluation of larval development and thus the exact timing of the launch of control operations.

Within the environmental activities sector, our company offers four types of services of biting insect biological control:

Type I- Computer and Logistics Support:

  • High definition satellite imagery processing;
  • Photo-interpretation of high-risk areas;
  • Mapping and identification of sensitive areas;
  • Development of computer, geomatics and organizational tools related to entomological surveillance and control;

Type II- Diagnostics support and operations planning:

  • Localization and characterization of mosquito breeding habitats near sensitive areas;
  • Development and coordination of an entomological surveillance program which includes:
    • Preparation and installation of an entomological laboratory;
    • Sampling and identification of mosquitoes;
    • Testing vectors for disease infection using rapid assay techniques;
  • Reporting on status and giving recommendations;
  • Development of prevention and intervention strategies.

Type III- Coordination of mosquito control operations and personal protection measures:

  • Hiring and training employees;
  • Promoting awareness and communicating prevention and personal safety measures;
  • Planning, coordinating and supervising aerial and ground-level mosquito control operations, including;
    • Both larval and adult control strategies;
    • Selection and allocation of control methods;
    • Follow-up and quality control;
  • Reporting on operations and giving recommendations;
  • Logistical, professional and scientific support.

Type IV- Sales:

  • Satellite Imaging (Quickbird, 60 cm resolution);
  • Instructive materials for screening and treatment teams;
  • Entomological surveillance equipment;
  • Laboratory material;
  • Rapid viral screening tests.
